San Francisco-based retailer Presidio Post curates an assortment of independent brands with an emphasis on timeless style and enduring charm. Their FW25 edit brings together contemporary designers with narrative-driven pieces that bridge past and present with effortless charm.
We shot this season’s lookbook at the historic Mechanics’ Institute in San Francisco - a cultural gem founded in 1854 as a hub for readers, writers, film lovers, and chess players. Its current Beaux-Arts building, designed by Albert Pissis in 1910, remains a quiet architectural relic tucked just off Market St. The Mechanics’ Institute houses an open-stack library of over 160,000 works spanning literature, arts, history, and philosophy, and is home to the oldest continuously operating chess club in the country.
This enduring setting echoes the thoughtful details, considered craftsmanship, and timeless nature that define Presidio Post.
